Nepal Army Canteen Store(NACS) run by Nepalese Army Welfare Fund is one of the main welfare activities specified in Nepal Army Act 2063 to provide daily consumable items and household goods in subsidized price. The central store is located at Tripureshor, Kathmandu where as there are 5 branch stores in Kathmandu valley and 7 provincial stores at respective provinces. The main strategy in the store is to remove the middlemen from the transaction and to source products directly from the producers, distributors or dealers so that it can benefit its beneficiaries with subsidized wholesale price. NACS has its expansion plan to establish such stores in all brigade area of operation as well as district unit levels. The cost of transportation of goods is minimized by the use of army vehicle movement wherever possible. The monitoring team formed as per canteen directive will ensure the price of goods available in each store is almost same or significantly indifferent. The NACS will register all its customers who are presumably welfare beneficiaries by his or her personal computer number, full name and valid recognized two mobile numbers(including one of spouse or additional family member). In near future, we hope to be most preferred department store for our valuable welfare beneficiaries customers. We will provide unmatched price and quality products to our customers.
